Job Description:

Position type: Part time
Location: Work from home (Durham Region, Ontario preferred)

NextTree is looking for talented HTML coders.

Skills are important. A web design background is a must. An up-to-date portfolio of live websites is a given. And experience with WordPress is icing on the cake.

You will be coding websites using standards compliant HTML from pre-designed .PSD files.
Your code must be pixel perfect. Anything from mini-sites to big-time e-commerce web stores using WordPress or NextTree Commerce.

This is an entry level part-time postition but there is room for advancement and growth in either a design or coding direction. We just need to know how good you are first!

Requirements:

• You have a good sense of design
• You are an HTML expert
• You love what you do
• You have developed your own website or blog
• You can show us at least five websites on the Internet right now that were created by you

Furthermore, you should have at least a few of these skills on your resume. The more the merrier.

• PHP, MySQL, XHTML, Javascript
• Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash
• WordPress
• Marketing Sensibilities
• Search Engine Optimization
